bath repair kit

Product Name Small Baby Bather- Voluntary Recall to Repair with Free Locking Strap and Instructions.
Importer Summer™
Hazard When the bather is lifted and/or carried with an infant in it, contrary to warnings and instructions to never lift and carry an infant in the product, its folding wire frame can suddenly fold posing a fall hazard.
Incidents/Injuries CPSC and Summer™ have received seven reports of incidents, in the US, including five reports of head injuries (four skull fractures and one bump to head) resulting from falls when the bather was used to lift and carry a child contrary to product warnings and instructions.
Description At Summer™, keeping children safe is our highest priority.  Consistent with the warnings already on the product and the instructions, this awareness program is aimed at alerting parents and caregivers about the dangers of transporting infants while in bathers. The baby bathers can continue to be used safely and confidently, as intended, as a bathing aid.

Please note that this program does not involve any consumer returns or refunds. Do not return the Baby Bather to retailers as they will not be able to provide the repair kit.
