Trying to find the perfect bedding set for your baby’s nursery can be both exciting, yet overwhelming. Luckily I found decorating a girl’s nursery to be a lot easier than decorating a boy’s nursery. There are definitely more options when it comes to girls in general, but I got lucky with Lulu’s bedding, as it just so happens that Summer is coming out with a few new girly bedding sets that I was able to choose from. Petals is the collection I chose, but there were several more I could have chosen from - Tu Tu Cute, Juliette, Who Loves You, and Lady Bug. When we found out we were pregnant, we had decided to move D to a new “big boy” room and to keep his former nursery painted blue, even though we were having a girl. After all, who says you can’t have a blue or green nursery when having a girl? The part that excited us though, is that the Petals collection just so happened to match beautifully against the already painted blue walls, or at least we thought so.

We purchased everything from the collection – from the 4-piece bedding set, to the gorgeous canvas wall art. And the best part, is that the collection really does have everything, including window valances, wall decals, crib mobile, lamp, diaper stacker, crib sheet, changing pad cover, and blanket. We have a few last finishing touches to make on the nursery, but it’s basically done – whew! At a very pregnant 38 weeks, it feels good to have that complete.

The Petals collection can be found here on SummerInfant.com.
