Camera Status Lights

What does it mean when the four lights on the front of my camera are green?

Four solid green LEDs on the front of the camera indicate that the camera has a local and remote internet connection. This means you can view on your smartphone, tablet, or computer in and out of your home. Note: You can turn the lights on the front of the camera off by sliding the Internet Status Light switch on back of camera.

What does it mean when my camera has two green lights and two white lights?

The two green lights and two white lights on the front of the camera means that you can view on your smartphone, tablet, or computer in your home but you will not be able to view out of your home.  Your home router may have lost outside internet access.
  • Using your smartphone or computer on WiFi go to www.summerinfant.com . If you are not able to load this website, contact your cable or service provider to troubleshoot your connection issues.

What does it mean when my camera’s green lights turn to white?

When all of the green LEDs on the front of your camera switch from green to white, this means that a user you have given viewing access to has logged in and begun watching your camera over a remote internet connection. The LEDs will change back to green when they have stopped watching. This feature requires the app upgrade package, see "upgrading your app" section for more information.

What does it mean when my camera’s green lights are circling?

If you have not setup the product the green lights will circle until the camera has been setup.

  • If your camera has been setup it may be too far away from your router.
