Frequently Asked Questions: please find below questions that we generally get from our customers.  Should you not find an answer to your specific question, please do not hesitate to contact Summer Infant customer service for more information.
Product Category: Product Name: Model #:
I’ve had my monitor for over a year, but I purchased an extended warranty at the store from which I purchased the product from. What can you do for me?
We have a one year manufacturer’s warranty on the product.  Any extended warranty had to have been a direct purchase made from the retail store.  Thus, you would need to contact them to rectify the issue.

Can I purchase an extra monitor to go along with my system?
We do not sell the monitor separately.

Can I purchase an extra camera to go along with my system?
Yes, you can purchase an extra camera to go along with your current system.  You would need model 02760.  You can put one camera on channel A, the other on channel B, and then manually toggle back and forth between the two cameras.  The monitor will not scan back and forth from each camera; you must do this manually.  However, there is always a risk of interference, and the two camera setup is not guaranteed.  We have a 30-day return policy for that reason.  We do have a pretty high success rate with the two camera set up, but you should be aware that it is not a guarantee that the setup will work without any interference.  You can order the camera on our website, summerinfant.com, or by calling the customer care number.

My monitor is all static (if consumer says there are crackling sounds or anything else of this nature, this answer would apply). Can you replace it?
We do have a one year warranty on the product, and we can replace it for you if we determine it is under warranty and actually defective.  Sometimes, static on the screen is a result of environmental interference, whether it is something in your home or your neighborhood.  If you have any 900MHZ technology in your home, this could be causing your monitor to act in this manner.  A simple test could help us determine whether it is the monitor or something environmental in your area causing it to malfunction.  Try bringing your system elsewhere, maybe to a friend’s house or relative’s house outside of your neighborhood.  If you experience the same problems, this points toward a defect in the product.  However, if the static clears up or disappears completely, then we know that it is something environmental in your area causing the static on your monitor.  If this is the case, there is not much we can do from a manufacturer’s standpoint because a replacement system would end up doing the same thing.

Do you have the plug for the monitor available?
Yes, we do have the adapter that you need available.  You would need model 02010a-04 (19.99 charge if system is outside of warranty)
