What are some safety precautions I should take while bathing my baby?
• Infants have drowned in infant bath tubs.
Always keep infant within adult’s reach and never leave children unattended.

Never place any infant bath in water in an adult bath tub or sink.

Always keep the drain open in the adult bath tub or sink.
• Infants can drown in as little as 1” of water.
Always bathe your infant using as little water as necessary.

Never leave children unattended.

Never allow other children to substitute for adult supervision.

Always check water temperature before placing child into tub. Bath water should be between 90º and 100º F (32.2ºC and 37.8ºC).
• Bath tubs can be very slippery when wet, prevent serious injury from falling.

Never lift a bath tub with a child in it.
• Discontinue use of any bathing tub or product if damaged, broken, or disassembled.
